Before the rest of the year runs away with us, put Saturday, May 20th, 2017 in your diary when the community will be invited to attend the Horizons Spring Benefit at the Stamford Yacht Club. The nautical-themed evening will feature cocktails, a seated dinner, and silent and live auctions. Event proceeds will benefit the Horizons Student Enrichment Program hosted at New Canaan Country School. Visit horizonskids.org for more information.
Founded at New Canaan Country School (NCCS) in 1964, Horizons now serves more than 400 public school students in grades K through 12 from Stamford and Norwalk. Guided by a professional faculty, the program emphasizes academics, the arts, intramural sports and social growth. In addition to offering its signature six-week Summer Program on the campus of NCCS, Horizons stays connected with children and their parents by providing after-school programs and weekend activities throughout the year.
