Today we opened our doors and welcomed members of our community to the NEW New Canaan Library. Representatives from the Town of New Canaan, Library Board Members, and the entire Library team were all present as Executive Director Lisa Oldham cut the ribbon to mark this much-anticipated day.
Lisa shared, “The future is very bright for New Canaan and New Canaan Library. We are so excited to open this new Library for everyone in town. Many, many people have worked for over a decade to plan and build this incredible platform for lifelong learning. Grounded in sustainability and access for all, the new Library will inspire the imagination and creativity of our visitors young and old.” As of 4:30 pm we had more than 2,200 visitors through our doors!!
