Cut the Cord to Cable If you're tired of rising cable bills, this workshop on Tuesday, August 6, at 12:00 p.m. in the Community Room is for you. Discover alternatives to cable and learn how to use your New Canaan Library card to stream free films, series, and documentaries through Kanopy.

Poetry on the Green On Wednesday, August 7, at 1:00 p.m., join an informal read-aloud session on the Anderson Terrace. Share short poems, either your own or from a favorite published poet, and connect with others through the power of poetry.

Adult Diamond Painting: Landscape Coasters Create a blinged-out coaster with Reference Librarian Kassidy on Friday, August 9, at 10:30 a.m. in the Anderson MakerLab. Diamond painting, similar to paint by numbers but with small gemstones, will be the focus of this fun and creative session.

Cricut Crafts for Adults: First Timers On Monday, August 12, at 2:00 p.m., learn to use the Cricut Maker in an introductory class with Kassidy. Create a personalized bookmark and explore the capabilities of this versatile machine. This session is designed for beginners.
