The Town of New Canaan is embarking on another important fiscal year. The Board of Selectmen (BOS) has begun its review of proposed department budgets with a final vote on the budget on January 30, 2025.
Note: the BOS reviews but cannot make changes to the BOE Operating Budget.
Following the BOS budget vote, the Board of Finance will begin its deliberations on February 6, 2025, and plans to vote on the budget on March 6, 2025.
The Town Council will then begin its review on March 13, 2025, with a final vote scheduled for April 3, 2025.
