It's official, the Chuck E. Cheese on Backus Avenue in Danbury is officially permanently closed. A sign on the door reads: ""This location is now closed and will not reopen. Please visit Check E. Cheese at chuckecheese.com to provide you with further information. We sincerely thank you for your patronage and enjoyed serving you and your family."Also recently closed is the Kid Escape USA inflatable party zone on Mt. Ebo Road in Brewster, NY. Both places cited high rents as their reason for needing to close.
