The New Fairfield Library is very close to meeting the Derx Challenge, but still needs your help!

As previously reported, the Robert G. and Marguerite M. Derx Foundation has given the Library a matching gift challenge.

All individual or family gifts made to the Library renovation project through December 31, 2013 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000 (n.b., corporate, foundation and business gifts as well as the proceeds from the Library fundraiser do not qualify for the match).

At this time, the total raised toward this challenge is $8,265. We are close, BUT STILL NEED YOUR HELP to reach $10,000.

Please, if you have been waiting to make your gift to the Library renovation project, NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT as your gift will be doubled!

Want to make your gift go even further? You may have the opportunity to TRIPLE your gift? Many employers match the charitable donations of their employees (some even match the gifts of retirees). This means that not only Derx will match your gift, but you or your spouse's employer may too. To learn more, contact your respective Human Resource Department.

Please, send or drop off your gift to the Library today. Every gift of every size matters – and will be matched dollar-for-dollar until December 31, 2013.

Together we can meet this great opportunity for the Library. Questions regarding the Derx Challenge or the Library Renovation Fund should be directed to Library Director Linda Fox at 203-312-5679. Thank you.
