COMING TO THE NEW FAIRFIELD SENIOR CENTER ECO-ELDERS
Sherman resident Breezy Grenier has the hair of a mermaid soul of a gypsy and a life of pirate. She is a modern day explorer with the ocean being her home, her workplace, and her playground, with polar and deep sea exploration being her passion.
Breezy is looking to connect senior citizens with their grandchildren and youth, to help promote reducing and reusing, to aid in our ever growing ocean pollution problem. To put an end to a single use society.
During the Great Depression, society adapted to financial stress and came up with ways to reuse and save and led to a great reduction in waste. Instead of working and saving for things that were necessity, we started buying things for pleasure and stopped reusing. Come to this lecture prepared to share your thoughts and ideas for ways to reduce our carbon footprint.
