A Holy Week Message From Gov. Lamont

This is the holiest week of the year, Passover and Easter. It's a time of hope. It's a time when the tulips are coming up. It's a time when we give thanks. It's also a time of great COVID crisis here right now.

I know you're used to going to synagogue. You're used to going to church and worshiping with your friends. This time around, you're going to worship and it's going to have all the more meaning, but you're going to do it at home.

But those tulips are going to come out. We are going to turn the corner and this state is going to do it together. And we're going to do it bound by our faith in God, as well.

I wish you all the very best – a great Happy Passover, and a great Happy Easter.

A time of hope
