The UConn women's track & field team split their squad this weekend and sent athletes to compete at the Navy Spring Invite and the Virginia Challenge at the University of Virginia.
Senior Mia Nahom (New Milford, Conn.) finished 10th in the 5,000 meters invite race on Friday night, clocking in at 16:00.35, setting a new PR and breaking the UConn school record previously set by Emily Durgin in 2017 (16:05.44).
Other records set by freshman Gabby Davis in the 400 meter hurdles and junior Emma Chee in the pole vault, who snapped her own record for the second-straight week.
The Huskies racked up nine individual wins and a pair of relay wins at the Navy meet.
