The Silo invites you to New Milford City Hall City on Monday, April 10

$107k TOWN VOTE APRIL 10TH

You are invited to join us at City Hall on April 10th at 6:30pm if you share our mission and want to help us build a community resource for everyone, especially youth. If you cannot attend, please send a letter of support addressed to:

Mayor Pete Bass

Subject: Support for the Silo

You can write a brief message expressing your support for The Silo's 107k capital improvement grant.

The Silo has requested a capital improvement grant from the Town of New Milford to fund necessary repairs and upgrades, such as a new kitchen hood and an ADA compliant bathroom. This will make the Silo a better place for all members of our community. The Town Council and Financial Commission have already approved the grant. The final step is a public vote to secure the requested funds of $107k from the ARPA funds.

In 2022, The Silo provided spaces for 19 local and regional nonprofits to hold their exhibits and fundraising events as well as several community members, artists and local projects without any rental cost. Instead, everyone were only asked to make a donation of non-perishable food which was then donated to Camella's Cupboard.

At Hunt Hill Farm, we strive to provide a unique and enriching experience for all our visitors. Our mission is to create opportunities for individuals from any walk of life, especially the youth to be able to heal and be empowered through arts and technology, while also preserving the farm’s land, environment, buildings, archives, and rich history. We celebrate Americana in music, art, and literature as well as providing communal space for educational programs and private activities while celebrating the amazing life and legacy of Ruth and Skitch Henderson.
Have a fantabulous day and positive vibrations always!!!
