The New Milford Public Library will host an exhibit by artist Dennis Stuart entitled "Litchfield Hills in Mind." The oils and watercolors display may be viewed during regular library hours from December 28 through February 8.
The library will have a reception on January 6 from 2:00-4:00.
Dennis Stuart is a nationally recognized artist from New Milford, CT. With a career spanning forty years, Stuart has displayed his artwork in many exhibitions, including the National Park Academy of the Arts and the Punta Gorda National Art Exhibition. Stuart states, "With my paintings, I attempt to capture a moment in time revealing a contemplative interpretation of nature." Farm, field, forest, and brook are landscape subjects Stuart is drawn toward.
