Volunteer with Regional Hospice and Palliative Care!

Are you a good listener who enjoys being with other people? Have you been looking for a way to have an impact on someone else’s life? If so, please consider becoming a volunteer for Regional Hospice and Palliative Care.

Spending time with a volunteer often allows patients to forget about their medical issues and focus on enjoying activities.  Whether playing cards, looking at family photos, running errands, providing caregivers with a break or listening to a patient tell his or her stories, it is meaningful time together for both the patient and the volunteer.

Family support volunteers provide companionship for patients and much-needed respite for caregivers, typically 2 to 4 hours per week.  Regional Hospice and Palliative Care cares for patients across Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven and Hartford counties.  Visit patients as close or as far from home as you'd like.
