New Canaan Country School Lights the Night, Makes a Difference

New Canaan Country School received the Making a Difference Award Feb. 5 for its participation in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk held in Stamford.

Light the Night, a fund and awareness-raising event held in towns across the country, aims to bring light to the darkness of cancer by funding lifesaving research and support for people battling cancer. Accepting the award on behalf of the school were (front row from left to right): Owen Collins, Head of School Dr. Robert Macrae, Adam Rizvi, Jeffrey Ricciardelli; (back row) Upper School Teacher Will McDonough, Alex Byrne, Carter Alvord, Horizons Office Manager Ginny Pracillo and Country School staff member Renee Bornstein.

New Canaan Country School is a co-ed, independent day school serving students in Pre-K through Grade 9. Located in New Canaan, the school serves families living throughout Westchester and Fairfield counties.
