Save the Date: SilverSource Luncheon on November 7th Featuring Roz Chast, Author and Cartoonist for "The New Yorker"

Roz Chast, author and renowned cartoonist for “The New Yorker,” will bring her story to life through humor at the SilverSource Benefit Luncheon planned for November 7,2018 at Serafina at the IC in Stamford, CT.

Save the date to hear this acclaimed humorist share insights from her award-winning memoir, Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant? (Bloomsbury, 2014), a graphic novel portraying Chast’s own experiences with her aging parents.

Advance tickets are on sale now. Proceeds from this Inspiring Lives benefit luncheon will provide critical funds to support the work SilverSource does to improve the quality of life of older adults and provide critical financial support for those in great need of community support.

Gene Rubino, founder of Plaza Realty & Management Corporation, will serve as honorary chair for the event alongside co-chairs, Adele Gordon and Polly Rauh. Additionally, winners of the 2018 SilverSource Awards will be honored for their contributions to bettering the lives of Fairfield County’s older residents.
