On Saturday, October 12, from 9 AM to 1 PM, The First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan, will sponsor a donation drive for Goodwill Industries of Western Connecticut once a month. The next collection dates this year are Saturday, November 9 and December 14.
Donations of clothing, furniture and household items in good condition are sought and receipts for tax purposes will be available.
Goodwill Industries provides vocational services for people with disabilities and special needs. Over 60 percent of its operating revenue comes from the sale of donated goods in its retail stores.
