New Canaan Library Launches No Contact Food Drive to Support Local Charities

No Contact - Drive Through Food Collection on Thursday, May 21 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at New Canaan Library
 New Canaan Library is proud to support local agencies to help address the extra demand for food resulting from the Coronavirus pandemic.
 
Non-perishable food items that can be purchased in bulk are most needed:
  • Cereal & Instant Oatmeal
  • Pasta & Pasta Sauce
  • Canned Fruits & Vegetables
  • Juices (Bottles & Boxes)
  • Shelf Stable Milk
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly
  • Soups & Broth (dry or canned)
  • Macaroni & Cheese
  • Dried Beans (1 lb. bag)
  • Fruit Cups & Puddings
  • Rice - White or Brown (1 lb Bag)
  • Canned Protein (Tuna, Chicken, Salmon, Ham) 
To contribute please enter the Library via the Maple Street entrance.
Drive up. Pop your trunk. Our library volunteers will remove your donation and place on our trucks.
 
All food will be delivered the same day.
