Through Our Eyes VI: Opening Reception on March 19th

The community is invited to view and celebrate the work of New Canaan High School art students whose work was selected for inclusion in “Through Our Eyes VI” at The Carriage Barn Arts Center in Waveny Park. An opening reception will be held on Friday, March 19 from 5-7pm, and the exhibit will be on view through Saturday, March 24, 2018. The Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday from 10am-3pm and Sundays from 1-5pm.

This is the sixth year the Carriage Barn Arts Center has partnered with the New Canaan High School art department to showcase student artwork in the gallery. The work of about 100 students will be showcased and include photography, original paintings, drawings, and jewelry as well as video and installations. The selected works represent students in introductory level courses up to AP level art classes.

New Canaan High School performing arts students will also be showcased and celebrated during the exhibit, with live music performed at the opening reception by NCHS electric ensemble: Blue Orcas.

More details can be found at www.CarriageBarn.org.

This year’s exhibit is generously underwritten by Bankwell, with additional sponsorship support from HTG Investment Advisors, New Canaan Alarm Co., Santella Electric and William Raveis.
