Celebrate Earth Day in and around New Canaan

New Canaan residents take heed! Earth Day is this Sunday, April 22! There are a host of events and celebrations taking place in and around New Canaan that include outdoor concerts, local artisan exhibits, farmers’ markets, and community cleanup efforts - all dedicated toward bringing awareness to our environment and preserving our planet.

Shred your documents in Ridgefield on Saturday, April 21

Bring all your old receipts, bills, tax papers, bank statements, checks, etc. to be shredded by Winters Brothers mobile shred truck on Saturday from 9am to 1pm at 4 Danbury Road - parking lot (behind Starbucks).  Funds raised by this event go toward Ridgefield Lion's Club initiatives, like those involving senior citizens and the RHS senior scholarship.
Cost is $10.00 per paper-box sized box.

Grace Farms in New Canaan will celebrate biodiversity on Saturday, April 21

According to their website, Grace Farms Foundation in celebrating the biodiversity of nature. Explore Grace Farms’ 80-acre preserve and enjoy programs and activities highlighting the importance of preserving woodlands and wildlife.
