New Canaan Library invites you to learn about Birding in Connecticut on Tuesday, July 10 from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join Naturalist and Bird Tour Guide, Frank Gallo, author of the new book, Birding in Connecticut, for a peak into the captivating worlds of our local owls. During his hands-on presentation, Frank will introduce you to their fascinating behaviors and adaptations, as well as to the local sites where they can be found. Following the presentation, Frank will be signing copies of his new book. Birding in Connecticut is the definitive guide to where, when and, how to find birds in the state.

FRANK GALLO is a leading expert on where to find birds in Connecticut and has led birding expeditions all over the world. Frank is a tour leader for Sunrise Birding, LLC, an international birding tour company, is a member of the Connecticut Avian Rare Records Committee, and a federally licensed master bird bander. Frank was the past Director of Eco-Travel and Field Studies at New Canaan Nature Center and Connecticut Audubon’s Director of the Coastal Center at Milford Point. Frank’s new book, Birding in Connecticut, a guide to where, when, and how to find birds in the state, came out May 1.
