New Canaan's Memorial Day Parade Steps Off on Monday, May 27 at 9:30 am.
We remember with gratitude and honor the proud men and women who gave their lives while serving in the US Armed Forces to protect and preserve a life of freedom for all Americans.
The Town of New Canaan would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your family to attend the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27, 2019. The Parade will start at 9:30 A.M. and conclude with the Ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery.
This year we welcome veteran Aaron Hall as the Guest Speaker.
The Reverend Dr. Derrick Fallon, the Pastor of Saint Michael’s Lutheran Church will give the Invocation and Benediction.
The Line of March will be posted on Thursday, May 23.
In the event of heavy rain, a cancellation notice will be posted on the Town website and in place of the parade, a Memorial Ceremony would take place in Town Hall with limited seating.
