The Golf Performance Center Offers Free "Preventing Golf Injury" Workshop 

Lifetime Learning Series Workshop: Preventing Golf Injury From the Ground Up presented by Dr. Andrew Creighton and Tyler Campbell will take place on Monday, September 30 from 7:30-8:30 pm.

Don’t let injuries set you back! Join us to learn how golfers can prevent injury and treat existing injuries. As part of GPC’s Lifetime Learning Series, we are pleased to offer this educational workshop with Dr. Andrew Creighton, Physiatrist from the Hospital of Special Surgery, and Tyler Campbell, Director of Performance at The Golf Performance Center. They will discuss: 

  • GPC Physical Philosophy 

  • Epidemiology of golf injuries

  • The basic anatomy of the spine

  • Data on low back pain in golfers, and aspects of the golf swing that can contribute to low back pain

  • Treatment and "pre-habilitation" approach to avoiding injury
