New Canaan, CT - Fairfield resident Simone DePaolo will make her vocal debut at Silvermine Art Center Sat. Dec. 14, 7pm reception, 8pm performance, 1037 Silvermine Road, New Canaan, CT. Her program is themed Simone Feeling Good: Songs from the Heart, with Hope, Healing and Humor. Her one night only performance is presented in conjunction with SAC's "Heart and Mind" exhibition, which explores mental health and the healing powers of art.
Depaolo studied on a full scholarship at Alvin Ailey’s American Dance Theater in New York. She has performed in music theater engagements worldwide. Simone and her husband, Pasquale, a saxophonist/bandleader, continue to entertain at various private functions throughout the tri-state area and she has been teaching dance, coaching vocals, and doing choreography in Fairfield for almost 20 years.

Simone hopes to add a bit of hope, humor, and healing through an array of tunes from ballads to Broadway, pop and up-tempo, with some audience participation and some conversation too!
