The holiday season is upon us and with it comes a unique set of challenges. Our emotions can be overtaxed through demanding expectations and family dynamics, which add a new layer of stress to our lives. We feel pressured to overindulge in foods that are bodies struggle to fully utilize and digest. Combined with shorter days, cooler weather, and the stresses of the cold and flu seasons we can become quite overwhelmed. Fortunately there are natural choices to support our resiliency during the holidays and fully enjoy the season. During this talk we will be discussing using foods, herbs, and lifestyle strategies to cope with emotional stress, support healthy digestion, keep our immune systems resilient and bodies feeling warm.
