Horizons at NCCS to Hold Comedy Night Fundraiser Jan 24

Horizons at New Canaan Country School (NCCS) will hold a comedy night event Friday, January 24 in the Carver Dining Hall at NCCS to raise funds to support the organization. This event is open to the public and will include a live comedy act starring Bob DiBuono, stand-up comedian and cast member of The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central and Adam Muller, a New York based stand-up comedian, and second place winner at the Manhattan Comedy Festival.

Attendees can purchase a table for eight guests and bring their own food, drinks and table décor. The emcee of the night will be Kevin Thompson, Horizons graduate, ’03. An exciting live-auction item of four VIP tickets to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will also raise funds for Horizons year-round programming. For more information on the comedians, and to buy a table, visit: www.Horizons2020.givesmart.com.

Founded in 1964, Horizons at NCCS is the first in a nationwide network of programs that are successfully closing the opportunity gap experienced by under-resourced students. Horizons at NCCS builds deep and lasting relationships with the 400 K-12 Norwalk and Stamford students it serves. The six-week Summer Program and year-round academic and enrichment programming help students imagine and achieve a brighter future for themselves.
