New Canaan Nature Center's Cider Saturday on Sept. 12

Celebrate the fall cider season here at the New Canaan Nature Center!

Join us for this fun and safe outdoor event where proper social distancing will be strongly encouraged. Face coverings are required for all Guests over the age of 2, except when eating. 

Come and enjoy an early autumn afternoon of family fun with cider press demonstrations, apple slingshots, old-fashioned games, a pumpkin scavenger hunt, seasonal harvest crafts for kids, baked apples (one apple per person will be provided), and stories around the campfire. Fill your bellies with delicious corn dogs, grilled corn, fresh cider, and baked goodies, all available for purchase.

Pre-registration by Wednesday, September 9th, at 4pm is REQUIRED. No walk-ins allowed.

Please, select one of three-time slots:

Session A: 10:00 – 11:45 A.M.
Session B: 12:00 – 1:45 P.M.
Session C: 2:00 – 3:45 P.M.

All guests are asked to arrive promptly at the start of your chosen time slot and to sign in at our Check In Table between our Visitor Center and Green House.

Each family will be assigned a group (with a maximum of 17 people per group) with whom you will rotate between our various activities. Each session will have no more than 50 guests on site.

Members: $10/person
Non-Members: $15/person
