New Canaan's Blossom Hill Hosts Yasmin Vossoughian at Annual For the Love of a Child Luncheon

Blossom Hill is hosting its annual luncheon “For the Love of A Child” on Thursday, February 18, 2021, to support the work of the Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to fund innovative ideas to help children affected by conflict in the Middle East.

This year, the gathering will be held virtually and will host guest speaker Yasmin Vossoughian, an award-winning anchor and journalist at MSNBC and a correspondent for NBC.

She anchors her own show Saturdays and Sundays and covers live breaking news throughout the week. She has reported extensively on the plight of refugees from the Middle East in the US, struggling against stereotypes as they try to fit into a new society and missing
their homeland.

Despite the pandemic, the work of Blossom Hill continues. Twenty Blossom Hill Fellows are engaging children and youth every day in innovative ways across 15 programs in ten countries. Please join us for the gathering to hear some moving stories from the ground on how the most marginalized children and youth are coping with the pandemic through our programs.

Purchase your tickets today and buy some for your friends and family as an inspiring way to start the new year. Tickets can be purchased here.
