Whole-Family Book Group on August 14 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Lapham Community Center
Join the New Canaan Library at Lapham Community Center’s Back Patio for our Whole-Family Book Group, in partnership with the New Canaan Moms Group. This month, we will discuss Jasmine Toguchi, Mochi Queen by Debbi Michiko Florence, a laugh-out-loud story of a spunky girl’s face-off with longstanding traditions. Each family will receive a copy of the book to read and discuss at home–and to keep after the program! Read together as a family, then come to Lapham to enjoy lemonade, discuss the book with other families, and play games inspired by our reading. This month’s book is perfect for elementary students and their grownups.
All adults and children 2 or older must wear a mask.
