New Canaan Library is honored to host Mary Fetchet, Founding Director of Voices Center for Resilience, who will deliver the talk “A 20-year Journey: From 9/11 to Today” via live videoconference on Tuesday, September 7 at 6 PM EST. Ms. Fetchet, a New Canaan resident for 33 years and mother of Brad Fetchet, who died in the September 11 attacks, will discuss her journey over the past 20 years. Ms. Fetchet will speak about the evolution of her personal experience, her advocacy efforts, and how the loss of her son and the needs of the other families led to the creation of Voices Center for Resilience. In the years since 9/11, Fetchet has dedicated her time to providing long-term support for victims’ families, responders, and survivors, and in assisting communities impacted by other tragedies.
