Off The Wall Art at Carriage Barn Arts Center, New Canaan

Thursday Dec 1, 6:30 - 10:00 pm 

Kick off the annual Deck the Walls exhibit and wreath auction with a Benefit and Holiday Party. Take a featured work of art off the wall just in time for the holidays! Festivities include live music, cocktails, Festive Bites by Rosie, and shopping.

Pantochino’s Christmas Carol – A New Musical! at the MAC, Milford 

Friday Dec 2, 7:30 - 9:00 pm

It’s opening night for a shiny, bright, fun-filled, topsy-turvy musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic. A wild and wonderful, laugh-a-minute holiday experience for the entire family. Book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi, music by Justin Rugg. Cabaret Seating! Bring your own food and drink to enjoy during the show. Saturday 2:30 and 5:30 pm, Sunday 2:00 pm and running weekends through Dec 18th.

Music on the Hill’s Sounds of the Season at the Wilton Congregational Church

Friday Dec 2, 7:30 - 8:45 pm

This holiday concert features the Jubilate Ringers, an 18-member handbell ensemble, and a 30-voice Festival Chorus and includes selections for Christmas and Hanukkah, as well as lullabies and winter songs. With choral highlight “Rejoice!” by Gwyneth Walker, a festive setting of three familiar carols. Flute, double bass, and carols sung by the audience round out the program. 

RTB's Super Nifty Holiday Bash at Ridgefield Theater Barn 

Friday Dec 2 and Saturday, Dec 3 at 8:00 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm

What happens when a snowstorm derails Don and Doris Campbell's annual holiday bash? Come and find out! Spotlighting stand-out talent from Fairfield and Westchester counties, the show includes traditional & non-traditional holiday songs that cast a side-eye at the holidays. Written by Duane Lanham, directed by Deb Failla, music direction by Lisa Riggs Hobbs, & choreography by Kelly Nayden. Running on weekends through Dec 18th.

50th Anniversary Art Show at the Mark Twain Library, Redding

Saturday Dec 3 through Dec 11, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm 

Celebrate 50 years at a juried art exhibit featuring more than 100 local and renowned artists, all works are for sale and will be available for viewing and purchasing both in person and in a Virtual Gallery during library business hours. This year’s Juror of Awards: Master Pastelist Peter Seltzer. 

Holiday Market at Metro Art Studio

Saturday, Dec 3, 12:00 - 4:00pm

Give the gift of art! The holiday cheer is everywhere at this unique holiday shopping experience. Including three floors of affordable art, jewelry, home decor, stationery, fashion, and more for everyone on your list. A wide range of 10 x10 art for $100 each will be for sale on the first floor to benefit both the exhibiting artists and Metro. Background Coffee is serving up the brews (yum!). Enjoy specialty coffee and buy custom blends and single origin coffee. ADA accessible.

Jingle All the Way at Wilton Historical Society

Saturday Dec 3, 2:00 pm

It’s an outdoor musical treat at the WHS Abbott Barn with Music on the Hill. Perfect for all ages! Get in the holiday spirit with festive holiday carols and winter songs by singers and bell ringers. Be sure to leave time to see the Great Trains Holiday Show from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Embrace the Journey at The Ridgefield Library, Ridgefield 

Saturday Dec 3, 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Enjoy a reception for Ellen Schiffman's new solo show of Multimedia Collage and Constructions titled, Embrace the Journey. Reflecting a rich vein of artwork that Schiffman created during the pandemic, this artwork highlights a fascination with texture, pattern, color and sculptural forms. Ellen has been a professional artist for almost 30 years, exhibiting her work in shows nationwide. On view through December 31st.

A Charlie Brown Christmas at Voices Cafe, Westport 

Saturday Dec 3, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

It’s an afternoon of timeless, upbeat, feel-good music for your holiday enjoyment. Café-style seating available if you wish to bring snacks and beverages. A portion of the proceeds dedicated to the battle against local food insecurity. In person and live-streamed. 

MAGIC at Wilton High School, Wilton

Saturday Dec 3, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Head to the David F. Clune Auditorium for Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra in “MAGIC,” including Paul Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Dvořák's Cello Concerto, acclaimed cellist Zlatomir Fung, and Modest Mussorgrsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.

Vienna Boys Choir at The Klein, Bridgeport

Saturday Dec 3, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Don’t miss the angelic voices of this renowned vocal ensemble as they perform their holiday favorites and classical repertoire. For over five centuries, The Vienna Boys Choir has been known as one of the finest choirs in the world. 

Holiday Open House at Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum

Sunday Dec 4, 12:00 - 4:00 pm 

It’s a day with Santa Claus and a special musical performance featuring the Music Theatre of Connecticut’s School of Performing Arts. Visitors will have a chance to view the new exhibition, A Holiday Wonderland at the Mansion, take selfies and family portraits, and enjoy complimentary refreshments courtesy of Stew Leonards.

Norwalk Symphony’s and Holiday Pops at Norwalk City Hall, Norwalk

Sunday Dec 4, 3:00 - 4:30 pm

Enjoy an afternoon of your favorite holiday music - both classical and sing-along classics! Amelia Watkins, Wendy Gerbier and dancers from the New England Academy of Dance will add to the festivities.

Sound of Music Sing-a-long at The Ridgefield Playhouse, Ridgefield

Sunday Dec 4, 2:00 - 5:00 pm

Warm up your voice, pull out your dirndl or lederhosen and get ready to become a star. It's a full Sound of Music experience, singing along to one of the classic favorite films of all time. Come early and shop for unique gifts at the Holiday Market beginning at 1pm. Stop by the bar and enjoy a beer from von Trapp Brewing.
