New Canaan Chamber Music Concert for Kids on May 7, Tix On Sale April 1!

New Canaan Chamber Music, under the direction of Andrew Armstrong, Artistic Director/Founder, will perform its first Concert for Children and Families on Sunday, May 7th at 3pm in the Jim and Dede Bartlett Auditorium at New Canaan Library.

This concert will be an exceptional opportunity for kids from age 4 through 18 to meet the musicians, learn about the instruments and experience music played by world-renowned artists. The concert is FREE for kids ages 4 through 18, but they must be registered with and accompanied by a supervising adult with a paid ticket.

The presentations will feature trumpet, violin, cello, double-bass, and piano with selections from Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns as well as Schubert's Trout Quintet. Listeners will be invited and coached how to actively compose the story of the music in their imaginations as they listen -- so YOU will be the storyteller, you will decide what happens as the music inspires you!

Tickets will go on sale on April 1st at www.newcanaanchambermusic.org. For more information, please contact NCCM at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . We hope to see you on May 7th!
