Art in the Windows 2023
Downtown Kick-Off & Art Stroll June 2 from 5-7pm
‘Art in the Windows’ the Carriage Barn Art Center’s annual exhibit in New Canaan storefronts runs from June 2-24. Organized in partnership with the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce, the exhibit features 125 original works of art on display and for sale in the windows of 72 downtown New Canaan businesses. All the pieces are for sale, with 50% of the proceeds benefiting the Carriage Barn. Guides with maps will be available downtown and on carriagebarn.org.
The downtown kick-off & art stroll on Friday June 2 from 5-7pm takes place at the intersection of Elm Street and South Avenue. There will be live music by School of Rock, an artist showcase and demonstrations, as well as receptions, tastings and shopping at several stores throughout town. All are welcome to join and support New Canaan's local businesses and artists!
