Sophistication Is Overrated

When New Canaan resident Babs Horner hosts a dinner party, the food is beyond amazing. However, you are likely to feast off paper plates, eating with plastic utensils. Her sister Sue Sue, on the other hand, will leave you speechless with stunning tablescapes but not a scrap to eat. Together, these sisters are a force and throw the most spectacular parties. So they have spent the last 3-years writing a brilliant book on entertaining Slageter sister style.

"Sophistication Is Overrated" is a hilarious coffee table book bursting with recipes, pictures, witty anecdotes, lifestyle and styling tips and like nothing you have ever read. The Slageter sisters will do anything for a laugh. They have a delightfully wicked sense of humor that at times may shock, but will always leave friends and family in stitches. The book is testimony to both refinement and fun.

Learn how to make your party "So Chic" with elegant crafts and decorations, or you can go "So Slageter" with rubber chickens, wacky costumes, and a healthy dose of humor.
