Earlier in the year, The New Canaan High School TSA/TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science) were highlighted. Results were based on Part 1 of the competition, with a second part being scored and reported at a later date. Part 2 was comprised of essay questions concerning the annual theme, as well as a design and build competition. The Part 2 scores have been received and had some significant changes in the position of the teams. Team D, which after Part 1 was ranked 7th in the State performed very well on Part 2 and vaulted into 2nd place in the state overall rankings! Team D performed very well on both sections enabling them to move ahead of 6 other teams including our A, B and C Teams.
Members of the NCHS D Team were team captain Cameron Rhind, Jackson Appelt, Jackson Butler, Cortina Faustino, Danny Fairchild, Jake Grigsby, Griffin Hall, and Jack O’Connor. The NCHS Science Department would like to congratulate these young men on a fantastic comeback performance!!
