This evening, Friday, January 28th, Town of New Canaan Deputy Emergency Management Director Phil Sheibley said:
"Current forecasts have our area receiving heavy snow, gusting winds, and possible blizzard/white-out conditions during the day on Saturday, which would likely cause hazardous travel, and falling tree limbs, potentially impacting power lines. We urge residents to stay off the roads so that road crews and emergency vehicles are not hindered."
