Pride Month is celebrated each year during June to honor the 1969 Stonewall uprising in Manhattan - to celebrate it here in CT, enjoy two special trivia parties created and hosted by Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events. All proceeds from the $5 ticket sales will go to New Haven Pride Center.
Black Rock Social House, which is “LGBTQ Fabulous” is celebrating Pride all month long - make your Mondays magic by joining in a 60-minute trivia game on June 13 and June 27 from 7pm. With 5-FUNtastic rounds, if you know your Blanche from Rose and Liza from Gaga - then this is totally for you.
Due to limited space, tickets must be purchased in advance. Black Rock Social House owner Mark Turocy says: "We are really excited for this. We often have a ton of entertainment, but trivia is such competitive fun and there will be prizes. Teams of up to six people can play, and we’ll have happy hour drinks and menus available. We have always supported New Haven Pride Center and want to raise as much as possible for them. Both trivia’s will be different, so it’s like a Pride tournament!"
