New Canaan Country School Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse tallied wins against Greenwich Country Day School (8-3), Rectory School (8-0) Foote School (10-2) and Upland Country Day School (8-0) to win the 2018 GCDS Lacrosse Invitational held in Greenwich, May 5.
“I am proud of our team’s performance and sportsmanship. It was a fun day,” said Varsity Coach and Upper School Teacher Charles Khuen.
Members of the NCCS varsity team include: Alex Byrne of Darien, Tyler Galante of Darien, Jeffrey Ricciardelli of New Canaan, James Kontulis of New Canaan, Owen Collins of Darien, Carter Alvord of New Canaan, Carter Spain of New Canaan, Peter Diorio of West Redding, Thomas Ricciardelli of New Canaan, Byrne Matthews of New Canaan, Cody Comyns of New Canaan, Charlie Gaynor of Bedford, NY, Jackson Alpaugh of Darien, Rett Ziegler of Rowayton, Walker Blair of New Canaan, Will Johnson of Darien, Alex Sotirhos of New Canaan and Jamie Staniar of Darien. Head Coach Charles Khuen is assisted by Marshall Johnson and Tom Furbee, who also teach at the Pre-K through Grade 9 school.
