We are looking for a new long-term volunteer who would like to be trained to feed, water, and care for our resident Goats & Chickens on Wednesday Mornings (7-7:30 A.M. in summer / 8-8:30 A.M. in winter). This opportunity is perfect for individuals or families! Do you love animals?

Special Events Volunteers: Adults Only

Don't you just love fall festivals? We are looking for 12 volunteers for the final volunteer shift at our Fall Fair Food Tent on Saturday, October 13th!  Shift 3: 3:30pm-6:30pm. Volunteers will be helping with: cooking & serving food, serving drinks & snacks, and restocking supplies.

Environmental Education Docents

Do you love people? The NCNC Environmental Education team is seeking volunteers to assist in our various educational programs throughout the year. Our environmental education programs vary from live animal presentations to large event presentations for the public and can happen at our center or through outreach programs. Previous experience in traditional or non-traditional education is a plus, along with the willingness to train using live animals. Overall a passion to be in the outdoors and work with all ages is needed!

Please contact Michelle Hips at MHips@NewCanaanNature.org
