Office of the Chair created at Silvermine Arts Center

Silvermine Arts Center announced new leadership with the creation of the Office of the Chair led by Rose-Marie Fox, Board Chair. The Office of the Chair (“OC”) is being created to enhance Silvermine’s ability to support its growth and strategic initiatives as it nears its Centennial—while continuing to carefully manage the operations and financial performance.

Two executives will join Rose-Marie as OC: Robin Jaffee Frank, Director of Strategy and Development, and Barbara Linarducci, Director of Finance and Operations. Together Robin and Barbara will serve as Vice Chair on the Board of Trustees.

“I chose Robin and Barbara to serve in these positions and work alongside me because of their outstanding leadership skills, financial diligence and strategic vision. They will work closely with the board and management team to shape the future of Silvermine.”

Robin Jaffee Frank previously served as Chief Curator at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, and Curator at the Yale University Art Gallery. She has organized exhibitions, lectured, and published widely on American visual culture from the colonial to contemporary periods. She holds a Ph.D. in the History of Art from Yale University.

Barbara Linarducci joined Silvermine in 2011 after a distinguished career in the Technology Industry, where she held senior management positions at Lucent, Avaya and Kronos. Barbara is responsible for navigating the successful financial turnaround in 2017 and continued positive financial performance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018.

The Silvermine Board added six new members to further strengthen its capacity to lead Silvermine into the future. The election of the following new members took place at the annual meeting on October 25:
