Did you know? RVNA Volunteers Give and They Get

Did you know that you can volunteer for RVNA, and lend your hands, heart, and talents to the organization’s mission and cause?

RVNA (Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association) is a private, non-profit mission-driven organization that provides care and wellness services for all ages, stages and levels of health.

Our volunteers serve in a wide range of capacities and include community members from area towns, registered nurses and physicians, licensed and business professionals, and high school and college interns. Among other roles, volunteers help with events, office work, and serve on the RVNA Board and committees.

This past summer, Julia Hergenrother, a rising college sophomore, joined the Hospice team at RVNA. She says the experience had a significant impact on both her career exploration and perceptions of those in the final stages of life. You can read Julia’s story here.
