Members of the New Canaan Country School community raised red, yellow and white lanterns at the annual Light the Night Walk, Nov. 2 at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. Dozens of students, parents, faculty and staff attended the event and raised $6,452 (far surpassing their goal of $5,000) for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
For the fifth consecutive year, Country School participated in the walk which honors blood cancer survivors, as well as those lost to the disease, and helped to shine a light on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
