South Avenue Butcher introduces hands-on Butchery Classes!
Classes will take place on Tuesday evenings beginning at 7:00 pm on the following dates:

Mike The Butcher will teach you everything you need to know about the animal – from where and how it was raised, to learning about specific cuts of meat and how to utilize everything (using bones for broth). Learn serious skills whether you are a foodie, aspiring chef, home cook or are simply organizing a team build or birthday party.
• Learn about making different types of Sausage.
• Knife Skills - how properly prepare and roast a leg of lamb.
• Love steak? Learn where to get the best cuts and how to cook it for maximum flavor

First Class "Half Pig" is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20th
For safety and hygiene purposes, we ask that students bring a hair tie or bandana, and wear suitable non-slip shoes.
