Registration OPEN for New Summer Programs at Ridgefield Academy

Ridgefield Academy is excited to announce its restructured summer programs, featuring a broader array of offerings for all ages. Programs are open to all members of the public, begin on June 18 and will run for six weeks.

For our youngest campers, Camp Landmark allows families to get a glimpse of what goes on during the regular school year in a fun, condensed summer opportunity for children to discover the magic of Landmark Preschool. Each week will comprise a different theme and will run from 9:00am until 2:00pm.

Patriot Camp is designed for children entering Kindergarten through Grade 5.  This year, the program will be split with three weeks operating as a traditional day camp including activities such as swimming, sports, cooking, science, technology, and games.  The other three weeks will be themed weeks including Trip Week, Science Week and Art Week. Campers are also able to sign up for weeks that appeal most to them or the full six weeks.

For middle school students in Grades 5-8, we offer our Explorer Programs which will include a broader variety of topics from which to choose this year. Two workshops will be offered per day; one during the morning and one in the afternoon.  Children have the choice of staying for half day or full day depending on the workshops that are of interest to them. RA will provide something for every child’s imagination. A choice of workshops, such as soccer with the New York Red Bulls Soccer Program, musical theater, coding, movie making, lacrosse, cooking, robotics, 3D design and printing are just a few of the many offerings available for this age group.
