Mixed Media Explorations at the Carriage Barn Arts Center
Four Tuesdays, March 6-27, from 3:30 - 5pm
A special class for kids ages 10 & up who want to explore mixed media while learning the history of an important artist.
Each week the group will be inspired by different famous artists and experiment in that style to complete a project. Students will work with clay, found objects, acrylic and encaustic paint, and with paper and scissors. The Instructor is New Canaan assemblage artist, Cindy Bussiere, who also teaches children’s art classes. Cindy creates a relaxed environment for students to share their ideas, try new things, and express themselves freely.
