Register Today for Art's For Healing Spring Semester

Since 2000, Arts For Healing in New Canaan has been providing music, art, dance and drama therapies to individuals of all ages (from toddlers to senior citizens) with a wide range of physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. We are beginning our 2018 spring semester the week of April 2nd.

In addition to individual therapies and group therapies we also offer adaptive piano and guitar lessons. We have a few spots still open in our NEW Drumming Circle on Monday afternoons at our main office on Grove Street and a few spots for young adults (over 21) in our Tuesday afternoon A.C.T. (Adults Creating Together) programs at Grace Farms which include a music therapy group, art therapy group and a TheaterWorks class– these are all fun, inspiring and creative ways to address the issues of communication, socialization and engagement. On Wednesdays, we have a variety of groups for PreK and school-age children as well as for senior citizens who are experiencing memory issues.

Please call us to find out the specific days and times of our programs, to register for our spring semester and/or to schedule a free consultation. Please let us know if there are specific people or organizations you think would be interested in our programs. Call us today to secure a spot in the group of your choice.

If we do not have the group you want at the time you need, let us know because we are often able to create a group around your needs. We also do a large part of our work at AFH out in the community in schools, community centers, hospitals, senior living centers and more, reaching over 700 people throughout Fairfield County each year. Call 203-972-2982 or email info@artsforhealing.org for more information.
