Roger Sherman Inn Hires Madalene d’Etiveaud, commits to establishing the inn as a preeminent resource for in-house events as well as on and off-site catering


Roger Sherman Inn (RSI) welcomes new hire Madalene d’Etiveaud to their company. Madalene joins RSI with over eight years of event management and catering experience. Ms. d’Etiveaud will be responsible for establishing the RSI as a preeminent event space for weddings and special events and will launch the Inn’s off-site catering business. Madalene is an accomplished event and catering specialist with an intimate knowledge and a loyal following in the industry.

She will be instrumental in growing our wedding and events as well as establishing our catering business,” said Nes Jaffree, co-owner and operator at RSI. “Madalene has the know how and relationships to reposition RSI as an event and culinary destination in Connecticut.”

As the former founder and owner of Bash Events, LLC, in Greenwich, d’Etiveaud brings over eight years of experience in business development, event and catering management along with an intimate knowledge of Fairfield and Westchester regions. Madalene will be responsible for growing the Inn’s wedding and events business, launching their offsite catering arm and will work closely with ownership to manage client relationships.

Madalene joins RSI as Director to translate the company’s business objectives into a sales and marketing strategy that will drive new business and growth. d’Etiveaud’s hire is coupled with an upcoming renovation to the Inn’s guest rooms and event spaces.
