You're IT Bram Speech and Language Consultants!
Three questions with Allyson Mahoney, MS, CCC/SLP, Director of Bram Speech and Language Consultants.
Why did you start your business?
I started this business in 2004 to help children with speech and language disabilities improve their communication skills. There were parents who wanted more than the schools were able to offer so I began a boutique practice to address speech and language needs. Each program is specifically designed for the client. We adjust the schedule, location, and length of sessions in order to optimize results. We are also able to pair clients with a speech-language pathologist who specializes in a specific area of need for their child.

Best selling product or service?
Our most common service is home-based articulation therapy. Children with articulation and fluency disorders often do not qualify for speech therapy in school because public schools have a different set of criteria to qualify for services than in private practice. We also work with delayed language, language learning disabilities, and pragmatics (social language).
