Why did you start your business?
Our business was started in 1998, as a uniquely positioned gallery and frame shop that bring artists and community together to celebrate local artists, personal framing, and the intersection where they meet: home decor. Clients have trusted us for 22 years with their precious items to be handled and presented with care. We work with a full spectrum of artworks: museum pieces to kindergarten pieces, and know we can find a way, within every budget, to make each framed piece withstand the test of time, both visually and archivally.

I wish we could show everyone what happens when they take an important document and mishandle it in its framing. You'd be amazed to see how things that people who thought they were preserving items by framing them cheaply inadvertently expose them to damage by not using correct glass and not using acid-free materials.
What is your best selling product/service?
Our best selling product is our framing which we approach with care for each individual project we receive. We can work with clients to find the frame that best meets their economic and aesthetic needs, and we pride our selves on our design finds.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Our favorite go-to's for coffee and nourishment are Connecticut Muffin, Organika, and Walter Stewarts.
