ElderHouse’s New Partnership with New Canaan's Flower Again Brings Joy to Seniors

ElderHouse Adult Day Center, a leader in serving aging seniors and their caregivers, is the proud recipient of beautiful floral centerpieces generously arranged and donated by Flower Again, an organization committed to recycling fresh flowers.

Flower Again, a not-for-profit, located in New Canaan, CT, inspires hope and happiness through the delivery of recycled floral arrangements. The Flower Again team, led by founder and board chair, Jill Robey, receives flower donations from local event venues. From there, the team who share a passion for floral arrangement sort the flowers and create new individual bouquets ready for delivery. ElderHouse has been the recipient of vases brimming with fresh blooms, adding much joy and happiness to the seniors in attendance.

“By giving flowers a second life, we are reducing waste in landfills and at the same time bringing joy to someone through the gift of repurposed flowers,” says Jill Robey. “We are happy to partner with ElderHouse because seeing the smiles on the seniors’ faces when we deliver flowers makes all our efforts worthwhile”

“The flowers delivered to ElderHouse are exceptionally beautiful. The benefit of seeing and smelling fresh flowers brings smiles and enhances the health and wellbeing of our seniors,” said Denise Cesareo, ElderHouse’s Executive Director. “We are most grateful to Flower Again.”

ElderHouse delivers outstanding care to seniors and peace of mind to caregivers. ElderHouse serves seniors and caregivers living or working in Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.
