To apply for an absentee ballot for either the Democratic or Republican Primary on August 14, 2018, please use the link below for information about voting by Absentee Ballot.   

Please download the application used in General Elections here. The same application is used for Primaries.

Please note there some restrictions on how many you can download and for whom.  Also, please note that each voter must sign his or her application personally and return it to our office or by mail to Town Clerk, P.O. Box 447, New Canaan, CT 06840 as soon as possible.  Absentee Ballots will become available on July 24^th.  For your convenience, you may also come into the office and apply and vote at the same time after that date, if you wish.  Absentee Ballots cannot be emailed, with the exception of qualifying electors living outside the United States.
