Two Months Since Jennifer Dulos Disappeared, New Canaan Police Have Received Over 1200 Tips

On May 24, 2019, at approximately 6:59pm, the New Canaan Police Department received a report of a missing person. The missing person was identified as Jennifer Dulos (“Jennifer”), age 50, a New Canaan resident and the mother of five children. Today marks two months since Jennifer went missing.

Since receiving the initial call that Jennifer was missing on May 24, 2019, the New Canaan Police Department Patrol Division and Investigative Section partnered with the Connecticut State Police Western District and Central District Major Crime Squads, Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, the Stamford/Norwalk State’s Attorney and other Connecticut law enforcement agencies. Working around the clock, this law enforcement team launched a missing person and a criminal investigation. This team continues to explore all leads and tips as we search for Jennifer.

This remains a very active and dynamic investigation that involves dozens of investigators. At this time a component of the investigation includes filtering through the tips and leads that continue to come into the tip line and through the website. Information from the public has aided this investigation. Investigators have received over 1200 tips regarding the disappearance of Jennifer and nearly 80 responses with video surveillance from homes or businesses.

In addition both physical and digital evidence is continuing to be processed and reviewed to aide in the investigation.
